Golem has a devious mind. It's probably a good thing he never went evil, otherwise the countryside would have been really screwed.
If we're playing by Castlevania Adventure II rules then once they clear out the last castle Dracula's fortress will appear before them. Also, if we're playing by those rules I figure they blew the Rock Castle into rubble. That makes sense to me.
