#2413: Fashion Conscious

This Comic's Storylines:

This Comic's Cast:

Since Golem and Darkmoon both got redesigns to their look, it only seemed fair to let Angel have a new look as well. Yes, the old robes are gone, but at least we got to see them one more time. And, believe me, I spent just as long drawing his old-style robes for the brief appearances they showed up for as I did Darkmoon and Golem and all they can do.

I'll leave you to figure out what Angel's t-shirt says.

I love what this has done to the comment section. Can actually see that other people comment now.

Well, that's certainly a nice tough jacket to last so long.

...I see what you did there with Angel's Shirt. Brilliant, and fitting, considering it's Angel.

Well, I couldn't manage to make out Angel's shirt, even when zoomed it's just to blurry on my monitor. I'm not to sure about this dark color look to the site, it does feel really weird, although the comics and comments stand out better against it. As for your art......I've seen a lot worse for someone who is just starting a webcomic before (some of them I even still read, because despite bad art they had a great story and/or wonderful humor). As others commented before you'll most likely improve over time (just look at the early stuff your sister did and now her current strips). How much time can vary from person to person, but you've got a decent starting point to work from so I expect in just a single year things will look quite a bit different (especially if you keep posting 5 days a week).

Studies have shown that white or light color font on dark/black backgrounds are easier for those with dyslexia to read. I personally have always liked the look, and I like to make my sites as accessible as I can. Plus, I am dyslexic, so any help I can give myself...

Oh, and just this once I'll say what the shirt say (but it will eventually change in the future): Hide Your Daughters (And Their Daughters).

Okay, since when can Angel glamour away or dispel his wings, not unless they were severed along with his hair? I don't mean to sound argumentative. I'm just curious. Of course, this question will probably be answered in the next few comics.

I do plan to address it. Not too soon, though

Oh, I do like the blend of light text on a dark background. I usually read through my list of webcomics when I get up in the mornings and it is a lot less strenuous on my eyes to try and read that then black text on a white background until they've moistened through properly. Yes, I have problems with dehydrating something horrid in my sleep, and trust me it isn't fun having my eyes feel like they're coated in sand for that first half hour or so until my tear glands finally produce some tears to coat them with.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
