#2762: The Dangers of Physics

This Comic's Storylines:

I've already gone into the basics of how to make something like this work, so we won't rehash that. However, I will note that Claypool is right -- the amount of power required to pull off a space-time bubble (which is required for FTL travel) is huuuuuuge. I read one estimate that it would require more energy than in a galaxy 15 times the size of our own. That's... that's a lot.

Thankfully, we have magic. Unfortunately it's wild magic.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
