#2760: Warp Speed, Mr. Claypool

This Comic's Storylines:

Space is a dangerous place. As it has been shown, time and again, during NASA missions (as well as the Russian equivalent), it's very easy to go up, have something happen, and then everyone on the crew dies. Or nearly dies. Or nearly blows up. Or any number of outcomes that all suck.

Space is, basically, out to kill us all.

Stil, that warp effect on the ship is pretty cool-looking.

And if this were still true about space travel a stellar empire would be unmaintainable, much less a fleet.

It's something I'm unlikely to show in too much detail in CVRPG, but if I ever do my space epic, I can get into better detail about all the technological ways space travel would be a little safer. Not really a discussion we have to have here, though. ;)

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
