#1: The Case of the Missing Employees
I'd wanted, for a while, to do a long series of adventures with Frankie and Mummy, but finding the right plotline for the two of them was tricky. They're the plucky comic relief, and most times when an author tries to spin those characters out into their own, regular series, the results tend to be mediocre (at best, and then ranging from awful, to wretched, to Joni Loves Chachi).
No, giving these guys their own series requires finesse. I don't ever want them to lose their charm, so I have to make sure that their adventures remain off-the-wall, light-hearted, and brief.
