#2652: Maturity

This Comic's Storylines:

This Comic's Cast:

This comic speaks to the issues we have with Angel, namely that he doesn't grow up. A lot of that just has to do with the act of balancing six-plus characters, all with their own stories and needs. Some people fall through the cracks and I feel like Angel got the worst of it.

So now we get to course-correct and really spend some time with Angel as he learns to grow up.

Angel gets too much bullshit from his party members. He's a drunk and a lech. But he's not cruel or vindictive. He's not an asshole who goes out of his way to hurt anyone. He just has things that he focuses on, one is alcohol and one is trim. He's not a bad dude and doesn't need a lecture from an animated pot.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
